Ranjit Sinha Appointed DG, ITBP

Shri Ranjit Sinha, IPS (BH:74) has been appointed Director General Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) in the scale of pay of Rs.80,000/- (fixed). The appointment will take effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post, consequent to the superannuation of the present incumbent of the post on 31.8.2011, and till his superannuation of 31.03.2013 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
