MSME National Awards 2010

National Awards 2010 to MSMEs will be given away by the President of India, Smt Pratibha Devisingh Patil to the successful Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME) and also to the Banks for Excellence in Micro & Small Enterprises lending on 2nd September, 2011 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.

The National Awards Function is organized by the four important organizations under the Ministry of MSME, namely, Office of the Development Commissioner [O/o the DC(MSME)], Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC), COIR Board and National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC).This year 144 awards are being given by the Office of DC (MSME) which includes 22 Women entrepreneurs, 13 NER and 1 SC Category. 45 awards from KVIC, including 12 Women entrepreneurs, 7 entrepreneurs from NER and 18 awards from COIR Board.The Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, with a view of recognizing the efforts and contribution of MSMEs, give away National Awards annually to selected entrepreneurs and enterprises, under the scheme of National Awards. The awards are given for various categories in Research & Development Efforts, Entrepreneurship & Quality Products. The First, Second and Third National Awards carry a cash prize of Rs.1,00,000/-, Rs.75,000/- and Rs.50,000/-, a certificate and a trophy.
