Legislative Business Transacted During the 10th Session of 15th Lok Sabha and 225th Session of Rajya Sabha (Budget Session)

The Budget Session, 2012 of Parliament which commenced on Monday, 12^th March, 2012 has been adjourned sine die on Tuesday, the 22^nd May, 2012.

A Special sitting of both the Houses was held on Sunday, 13^th May, 2012 to commemorate the 60^th Anniversary of the First sitting of the Parliament.

During the Session 26 Bills (21 in Lok Sabha and 5 in Rajya Sabha) were introduced. 21 Bills were passed by Lok Sabha and 22 Bills were passed by Rajya Sabha. Total number of Bills passed by both Houses of Parliament during the Session is 21.
