Before joining MHA as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) on April 27, 2013, Shri Goswami was Secretary, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment. He has served in his Cadre and at the Centre in various capacities including Additional Secretary in the Union Ministry of Home Affairs.
