Measure to stop migration of renown Doctors from Government Hospitals

Mr. Gulam Nabi Azad  Union Ministry of Health  and Family Welfare disclosed the measure to stop migration of  senior  renowned Doctors from Government Hospital to Corporate Hospitals.The Senior Doctors    age of superannuation of Teaching Specialists has been enhanced from 62 to 65 years.The  age of non teaching and Public Health Specialists superannuation has been extended from 60 to 62 

342 Fake encounter cases pending

The National Human Rights Commission registered 426 alleged fake encounter by Police,defence, central armed police forces during 2009-10 to 2011-12.Among 426 cases , 84 solved,342 pending. As per the Seventh schedule of the constitution Police and Public order  state subjects.It is the responsibility of the  State Governments to take action in every crime.The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) issues guidelines and recommendations  in all cases of deaths in the course of police action. 

Tsunami Alert Sounded for Eastern Coast of India

Indian National Center for Ocean Information Services (INCOIS) following the earthquake measuring  8.5 magnitude  on the richter scale at 1409 hrs (IST) in Indonesia on Wednesday. The Union Home Ministry has asked the Chief Secretaries of Andaman & Nicobar Islands and all East Coast States to issue a Coastal Alert, in view of the alert issued by the They have been  advised fishermen not to venture out in the sea. The Andaman Administration has moved people from Nicobar side to safer areas, as a precautionary measure. The precautionary drill has been activated.

National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) teams have been deployed and kept on standby as a precautionary measure. Six teams have moved to Chennai. In addition, six more teams have moved to Hindon airport. Airlift will be organized by the Air Force in case these teams need to be flown.
